Architects Will Start Building Jenga-Like Tower in Texas Next Month

Developers will start building odd-looking tower that resembles the game of Jenga in Austin, Texas, next month, according to reports. The $300 million, 58-story condo building is known as The Independent will be the tallest building in Austin and the tallest residential tower west of the Mississippi River.
“This is going to become the beacon of the neighborhood,” Kevin Burns, CEO of Urbanspace, told KHOU-TV.
However, while media outlets have said it is going to resemble the game of Jenga, one of the building’s architects said he’s never heard of it.
